Mandibular joint problem
Almost two thirds of the population suffer in the course of their lives from pain in the spine whose causes are not always to be found there. Too complex is our musculoskeletal system, too strong the causalities between individual joints, too perfect the ability of our body to compensate for discomfort and pain.
Posture, nutrition, breathing have a great influence on our masticatory system – but conversely, temporomandibular joint problems can also be the cause of incorrect posture. To diagnose problems in these areas, it is important to be aware of this interplay in order to treat the causes.
In order to analyze the causes of any joint pain, we work with colleagues from a wide range of specialties.
Typical symptoms of temporomandibular joint problems:
Tooth pain and damage | Temporomandibular joint disorders (cracking, pain, tension) | Restricted mouth opening | Pain in the head and face | Ringing in the ears (tinnitus) and (spinning) dizziness | Tension in the neck and shoulder area | Cervical spine pain and joint blockages | Negative effects on the statics of the spine up to foot malpositions.
